Thomas Bagley, 83, 567 61st St, Brooklyn, NY, former Scranton resident & an executive for many years in Local 670, Stationary Engineers, Firemen, Maintenance & Building Service Employees Union, NYC, died yesterday in Brooklyn after a short illness. Born in Ireland, came to Scranton as a boy with his family. Worked in the mines here until 1902 when he went to NYC and immediately became interested in the organized labor movement, with which he has since been affiliated. Member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help church in Brookly and its men's organizations. Survived by his wife, Winifred; 2 sons, Thomas J. of Clifford, NJ & Vincent of Cedar Grove, NJ; daughter, Mrs. Walter Moscoso of Clifton NJ; two sisters, Mrs. Mary McTowan (sic) and Mrs. Nora Conway of Throop; 5 grandchildren; many neices and nephews residing here. Funeral Weds from Cook's FH, Brooklyn; Our Lady of Perpetual Help; St. John's Cemetery, Brooklyn.
